CHICAGO - (March 22, 2005) - MFC Capital Funding announced today that Briget Brew has joined the company as office manager. Briget is the fourth employee to join MFC Capital Funding after it was formed on February 15, 2005 by Joe Gaffigan, Chris Randall and Ed Ryczek and the Marquette Financial Companies.

Briget has significant prior work experience with Verispan LLC, Equis and PrimeCo Communications that will enable her to do great things for MFC Capital Funding.

MFC Capital Funding anticipates hiring up to 12 people within its first year of operation. “We want to stake claim to being the preferred leveraged lender to the lower middle market”, MFC Capital Funding’s President & CEO, Joe Gaffigan said. “To be the preferred provider”, he continued, “we need to be big enough so that we can stay very responsive.”
