Danny Weiss joins MFC Capital Funding as a Director
CHICAGO - (September 29, 2005) - MFC
Capital Funding, a specialized finance company focused on lending to lower middle market
companies that are owned by private equity funds, announced today that Danny Weiss has
been appointed director responsible for both new business origination and portfolio
management.
Prior to joining MFC Capital Funding, Danny worked in the Private Equity
Group at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board making both direct equity and fund investments.
He has prior private equity experience with Pfingsten Partners, L.L.C. and prior lending
experience with Nationsbank Corporation (now Bank of America) and First Midwest Bank, N.A.
Danny graduated from Tulane University with a BS and earned an MBA from
the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
