Jim Kuncl joins MFC Capital Funding as Vice President
CHICAGO - (July 24, 2006) - MFC Capital Funding, a specialized finance company focused
on lending to lower middle market companies that are owned by private equity funds, announced today that Jim Kuncl has been
appointed Vice President responsible for both new business origination and portfolio management.
Prior to joining MFC Capital Funding, Jim spent over six years with Genworth Financial (formerly General Electric Company -
GE Financial). At GE, Jim worked as Vice President, Manager Finance in GE Brokerage Services and as a Senior Financial Analyst
in the GE Independent Accountants Network. He also worked prior at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and at Fifth Third Bank (formerly
Old Kent Bank). Jim holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA
from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management.
