CHICAGO - (January 31, 2006) - MFC Capital Funding announced today that Kevin Nowak has joined the Company as Vice President.

Prior to joining MFC Capital Funding, Kevin spent over six years with Harris Nesbitt (Harris Bank). At Harris Nesbitt, Kevin worked in the Loan Syndications Group, the Equity Sponsor Group (leveraged, sponsor-backed transactions) and the Asset Based Lending Group. Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
