CHICAGO - (February 27, 2006) - MFC Capital Funding announced today that Laura M. Derry has joined the company as Vice President.

Prior to joining MFC Capital Funding, Laura spent over five years with JPMorgan Securities (formerly Bank One). At JPMorgan, Laura worked in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance group. She also completed the Commercial Banking Development Program at Bank One. Laura holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
