CHICAGO - (April 18, 2005) - MFC Capital Funding announced today that Monica Briseno has joined the Company as Operations Officer.

Monica was recently an Operations Officer with Harris Nesbitt (Harris Bank) in the Asset Based Lending Group. Monica was with Harris for over nine years and has a broad level of operations/Stucky System experience with asset-based, structured finance and cash flow transactions. Monica also has prior work experience with Firstar Bank. Monica graduated from the Robert Morris College (Chicago, IL) in 1998.
