CHICAGO - (March 28, 2005) - MFC Capital Funding announced today that Thomas G. Karle has joined the Company as a Director.

Tom was recently a Vice President/Relationship Manager with Harris Nesbitt (Harris Bank) in the Asset Based Lending Group. Tom was with Harris for over 15 years and has a broad level of experience with asset-based, structured finance and cash flow transactions. Tom graduated from the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA) in 1988 and received a Masters in Accountancy from DePaul University (Chicago, IL) in 1991.
